I went to my first dance on a cold, icy January night, after hearing a radio announcement. The announcement said beginners were welcome, no partner or experience was necessary, and there would be live music. I found a welcoming community, realized that the advertisement was true, and have continued to dance several times a month since then. Hopefully I'll see you at one of these!
